Yusuf Badat has been part of TUNRA Bulk Solids for over seven years and has progressed from a laboratory-based researcher to an engineer chiefly responsible for the provision of consulting services for TUNRA’s conveyor belt and idler testing program. He engages with clients to identify their specific requirements, develops the scope of work, conducts testing and delivers reports on projects ensuring delivery with integrity and to an exemplary standard. He is also involved in projects for the provision of consultancy work to industries relating to their bulk solids handling and flow problems. With a background in Chemical Engineering, he brings to the team his expertise gained through experience in such diverse areas as manufacturing process engineering, process mineralogy, coal seam gas content measurement, coal mine ventilation air methane explosion mitigation research and education.
