Taryn Hughes is Director, Commercial Business at TAFE Queensland, where she leads statewide commercial strategy and industry partnerships focused on building a skilled, inclusive, and future ready workforce. She works closely with government, regulators, Jobs and Skills Councils and industry to translate workforce policy and skills demand into practical training pathways that support participation, diversity, and long term capability. Taryn has led Queensland Training Award–winning and finalist initiatives, including the Queensland Future Skills Partnership and the AgTech Skills Hub, and is recognised for delivering industry led, system level solutions that create clear and accessible pathways into employment across priority sectors.
