Steven is a resourceful and well-rounded business leader with a successful track record of being able to set, monitor and execute strategic business plans to great success especially within complex frameworks and legislative environments. Steven has a unique skill set developed across a university education in business, Local Government as CEO, general management in a corporate environment and as managing director of a highly successful SME. Steven has a proven ability to drive business improvement outcomes across both public and private organisations as well as experience working across all levels of government and importantly doing business with a strong focus on communication and engagement. Steven has played an instrumental role in delivering Future Proof Economic Development outcomes. Under Steven’s leadership, this vision has been realised through the activation of RCOE Stage 1, the commissioning of the Flexi-Lab critical minerals pilot processing plant within Stage 2 – The Future Industries Hub, and the development of Stage 3, the Isaac Resource Excellence Precinct in Moranbah. Steven also extends his involvement in various projects that drive innovation and collaboration in the circular economy space and in particular decarbonisation.
