Professor Sue Harrison was appointed as Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Research and Innovation) in 2025. Prior to this role, she was the Executive Dean of the Faculty of Engineering, Architecture, and Information Technology (EAIT) at The University of Queensland, where she focused on the delivery of leading educational programs, and research addressing global challenges and delivering transformational excellence. Sue has a long, varied track record in management and leadership in the academic arena, built up through a 30-year academic career in the field of bioprocess engineering and its application to the circular economy, green technologies for the resource sectors, and improved health care
