Mick Bryan is the Resources Industry Regional Manager for Hastings Deering, bringing more than 30 years of mining experience across hard rock and coal operations, both surface and underground. A qualified fitter and turner by trade, Mick began his career as an apprentice in Mount Isa and has remained in the mining industry ever since. Having spent the past 19 years with Hastings Deering, including serving as Area Manager in Mackay, he has developed a deep understanding of the role strong partnerships play in supporting customer success, industry growth and regional communities. Mick is passionate about improving operational efficiency, championing safety, supporting the Caterpillar product, and mentoring the next generation of mining professionals.
