Melissa is a retired banking executive who worked with one regional bank for more than 30 years, including 18 years as Owner Manager. She is a national Owner Manager of the Year, IML Owner Manager of the Year and a two-time recipient of the RIN Connecting in the Community Award. Melissa has served as Director and Deputy Chair of GW3, a committee member of the Mackay Region Chamber of Commerce, a member of the Mackay Domestic Violence Taskforce and Chair of the Institute of Managers and Leaders. She currently volunteers as Chair of Mackay Community Foundation, which has created a perpetual funding source for not for profits in Mackay and funds are distributed through an annual grants program.
