Danny Ullmer is the General Manager, Quality and Safety at BMA CQ Rescue, providing lifesaving aeromedical and search and rescue services to the Queensland community. Danny has been in the aviation industry for 29 years, with engineering, executive and quality and safety, roles across the military, regulatory, air transport, law enforcement, aeromedical and search and rescue sectors. Danny holds a Masters of Aviation Management, and several qualifications in safety management, leadership, audits and investigations. With a passion for proactive and measured approaches to aviation safety, Danny is keen to understand both what goes right and what goes wrong, particularly in the Human Factors field, acknowledging that humans are simultaneously the greatest asset and greatest hazard in aviation.
