Melanie is an experienced environmental manager and ESG professional with over 15 years’ experience in the resource sector.
She has a background in consulting and inhouse management and has worked on a range of projects before transitioning to Corporate ESG Manager for Pembroke Resources with responsibility over the Olive Downs Complex and other international assets.
Over the past four years, Melanie has been responsible for leading Pembroke Resources best practice environmental management and strong ESG approach.
Some of her noteworthy projects with Pembroke Resources include implementing the Koala and Greater Glider Monitoring and Research Program on the Olive Downs Complex. This program took an innovative and advanced approach to facilitating the long-term protection and conservation of these species in the local area with potential to expand into the region.
Pembroke Resources is leading the way in their approach to ESG and is strongly demonstrating that environmental protection and resource development activities can co-exist and function in balance.
