Workplace Support Manager, Anglo American
Kanae is the Anglo-American Workplace Support Manager who leads the Work Place Support Program and Trauma Informed Workplace Support Unit, managing psychosocial hazards and Bullying, Sexual Harassment, Discrimination including Domestic Violence. Her career spans over 25 years in the global resources and manufacturing sector with a professional background in H&S, Psychosocial Hazard Management, Mental Health, Suicide Prevention and Wellbeing in Mining, and Inclusion and Diversity programs. Kanae is also a QRC WIMARQ Mentor and QMEA Mentor Alumni and recently won awards for the WIMARQ I&D Champion and her team for the I&D Excellence Program including the AREEA Health Award and QMIHS Health Award Commendation. She holds working group positions on QRC and MCA for Psychosocial Management, Respect at Work and Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander People. Kanae was involved in a number of notable ACARP Mining Health research programs that evolved as best practice in the mining industry where she is committed to innovative health and safety solutions to create inclusive and safe environments for all our industry.
