He is a dynamic engineer with a passion for innovation, technology, and developing sustainable water solutions.
Before his role at WaterStart, his executive experience in the water sector included as Australasia Water Business Leader at Arup and Executive Manager – Sustainable Infrastructure Solutions at Unitywater.
He is recognised as an industry thought leader, and contribution to innovation and sustainability in the water sector.
Daniel has worked in over 25 countries and delivered leading first-of-a-kind solutions for recycled water, water resilience, and WASH projects.
In 2021, he was the Sir John Holland Civil Engineer of the Year. In 2022 , he was nominated Professional Environmental Engineer of the Year, and in 2016, he was recognised by Engineers Australia as one Australia’s Most Innovative Engineers.
Facing water scarcity and evolving regulations, mine operators are increasingly relying on innovative technologies to tackle water needs. Water plays an indispensable, yet frequently underestimated role in mining, a sector is known for high-water use. The focus is on sustainable water management.
