The 2020 Queensland Mining Awards have officially launched. Hosted by the Bowen Basin Mining Club (BBMC) in partnership with the Queensland Resources Council (QRC), the Awards aim to recognise mining companies, suppliers and contractors who are pushing the boundaries in collaboration, productivity and engagement. The Queensland’s premier bi-annual Awards celebrate the spirit of innovation, excellence and collaboration fostered within our highly competitive industry.
All companies involved in Queensland’s minerals and energy resources sector, from mining companies right through to contractors and suppliers, are invited to enter the Awards and gain recognition for their hard work and entrepreneurial spirit.
This is a rare opportunity for businesses of all sizes to present their successes to a large, diverse group of key industry influencers, and to receive the acknowledgement of their peers on several levels.
Award winners will be recognized for the quality outcomes they provide to the resources industry as well as for their commitment to innovation, and the delivery of projects that are safer, smarter, faster and more efficient. It's your chance to swap high-vis for high fashion. This glittering black-tie evening will include networking, a three-course banquet, beverages and entertainment as well as the Awards Presentation for finalists.
The event will be a long-remembered occasion, celebrating innovation, collaboration and mining excellence while networking with industry peers.
The Gala Awards Presentation Dinner will take place on 23 September 2020 in the heart of the Bowen Basin at the Mackay Entertainment and Convention Centre, as a keynote event of the Queensland Mining & Engineering Exhibition (QME).
