QME 2022 will look at the latest technological innovations and collaborative approaches to improve productivity and long term strategy for the mining sector. The very latest advances in technology and innovation across the mining value chain will be addressed as well as specific technical developments to maintain the mine's highest level of safety and reliability.

Specific seminar series sessions will cover technical best practice and technology innovation, mine management and maintenance, health and safety, coal processing strategies and automation, future skills, policy outlook, engineering excellence and more.

QME is proud to partner with the Bowen Basin Mining Club (BBMC) in partnership with the Queensland Resources Council to host the Queensland Mining Awards during QME. The awards have been designed to celebrate the spririt of innovation, excellence and collaboration that will drive the Queensland mining industry forward.



The 2020 Queensland Mining Awards, recognised the state's hardest-working contractors, suppliers and producers. The presentation dinner was attended by close to 600 of the industry's best and brightest. Entries for the 2020 QLD Mining Awards have opened.
