QLD MINING AWARDS

QME proudly partnered with the Bowen Basin Mining Club (BBMC) in partnership with the Queensland Resources Council to host the Queensland Mining Awards during QME 2022. The awards have been designed to celebrate the spirit of innovation, excellence and collaboration that will drive the Queensland mining industry forward.

BREAKFAST SESSIONS

The Resources Centre of Excellence was established to connect the brightest minds in research, technology, education and METS to shape the resources sector of the future. RCOE ran sessions on opportunities in critical minerals, mine site rehabilitation and benefits of a circular economy in their office over all 3 days of QME 2022.

BULK MATERIALS HANDLING WORKSHOP

TUNRA Bulk Solids and FLSmidth presented a technical workshop that provided attendees with known research development in the fundamentals of bulk solids handling and industry specialists surrounding machines types, with solutions based primarily on Materials Handling Science and how this determines design considerations and machine selection.
