Shane Rose

Operations Manager, Prescribe Australia

Shane has over 15 years of experience in workplace injury prevention, injury treatment, manual task risk reduction and workplace health.
As an accomplished Accredited Exercise Physiologist, Shane became disillusioned with the reactive model of workplace injury treatment and the endless line of injured workers attending his clinics for rehabilitation.
This led him on a path to address the actual cause of musculoskeletal risk and prevent injuries at the coalface.
Having the clinical experience to understand both the biomechanical and psychosocial causes of injury, along with the practical experience working across the fields of mining, manufacturing, health, warehousing and logistics, Shane firmly believes that preventing injuries is the secret sauce we are all looking for.
As a Director of Prescribe Australia, Shane is firmly focused on delivering value to his clients across all industries.
In 2021 Prescribe was recognised as a winner of the SafeWork NSW Awards for eliminating hazardous manual task risk.
The team also won the Safety Award at the 2019 Australasian Rail Industry Awards and were finalists in the 2018 SafeWork NSW Awards for initiatives preventing workplace musculoskeletal disorders for their clients.
