Antony completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Aquatic Science at the University of Tasmania in 2001 and commenced his career as a farmhand/diver at Tassal Salmon in the same year.
Returning to Western Australia in 2003, he worked for several large diving companies, gaining considerable experience in shipping, maintenance, and construction.
Antony joined Fremantle Commercial Diving in 2006 and gained an extensive knowledge in the delivery of land-based diving services in potable and mining environments.
With a commitment to job planning and safety, he expanded the business into new areas of technical and specialised services, while maintaining a focus on the water and mining sectors.
Antony was instrumental in driving the business towards new areas of innovation in robotics and technology, with a passion for developing solutions to problems that have not yet been solved.
Antony is a past chair of the Australian Water Association’s Water Quality Committee and has an in-depth understanding of water quality, particularly in relation to potable water tank maintenance.
Facing water scarcity and evolving regulations, mine operators are increasingly relying on innovative technologies to tackle water needs. Water plays an indispensable, yet frequently underestimated role in mining, a sector is known for high-water use. The focus is on sustainable water management.
