Since the first edition was held in 1993, QME has grown to become the leading industrial exhibition in central Queensland. With the backdrop of a ‘boom’ period for Queensland’s mining industry, QME 2008 was considered by the majority of its 500 exhibitors and over 10,000 high quality professional visitors to be the most impressive edition yet.

QME 2010 will again feature the Queensland Construction & Machinery Expo (QCME).  Integrated within QME rather than on a dedicated exhibition area, exhibitors of construction and agriculture equipment and services will be clearly identified on-site as QCME exhibitors.

At QME 2006, 12.5% of visitors indicated specific product interest in construction equipment and services and 6.8% were interested in agricultural equipment and services.

A separate, targeted marketing campaign will again concentrate on attracting trade visitors to QME/QCME from the construction, civil engineering and agricultural sectors.
